! Please check the condition of the wall mural before use. Roll it out on a dry and clean surface for approximately three meters and check for damage.

PREPARATION
Make sure the surface is clean, smooth and dry before you start.
1. Remove old wallpaper and/or flaking paint if these (partially) cover the wall. These can cause peeling and prevent the adhesive from penetrating into the surface.
2. Fill and sand all cracks, scratches and imperfections with an emery paper.
3. Clean the surface thoroughly with a degreaser and water so it’s free from dust and/or other residues that can penetrate the wallpaper.
4. Apply a primer if the wall is too absorbent or porous. Test if the product is absorbed and doesn’t leave a layer before applying it. It is recommended to use a white primer so that any colors on the wall have no chance of coming through. 5. Allow plastered walls to dry completely to prevent the adhesive from loosening.
6. Has the wall been treated with emulsion? Apply a thin layer of wallpaper paste and let it dry completely so the surface won’t absorb the adhesive too quickly.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Start in the corner closest to the window and work away from the light. This way the seams will be less visible. Use a spirit level and graphite pencil to draw a perfectly vertical line on the wall. Line up the first strip of wallpaper with this line and use it as a guide for the succeeding strips.
2. Use a roller or brush to apply the adhesive evenly to the wall, slightly larger than the strip. ! Always use an adhesive for non-woven wallpaper, such as "Perfax Roll-on Magic", to avoid shrinkage during the drying process.
3. Apply the strip and leave +/- 5 cm of excess at the ends to accommodate for any misalignment from ceiling or floor. ! Be careful not to stretch the damp wallpaper strips when sticking them to the wall. This can cause open seams since the wallpaper will return to its original shape once the paste has dried. Did you make a mistake? Carefully remove the strip from the wall, apply an extra layer of paste if necessary and put it right back on.
4. Flatten out by moving a rubber roller up and down the wallpaper.
5. Remove excess adhesive immediately after applying the strip with a damp, soft and clean sponge or cloth. Under no circumstances rub the same spot twice and do not use any chemical cleaners. Dried paste might damage the wallpaper. ! Note that seams can split open if the room temperature is too high or there is a draught during the during process.
6. Finally, trim the wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting using a ruler and utility knife.
